President's Message
KAEOP –2021-2022
Hola KAEOP members, family and friends! I hope you had a relaxing summer and endured this record-setting season. I personally found peace and comfort with my garden when the sun set and the temperatures dropped. I would like to introduce myself as your new KAEOP President. For those of you who may not know, I’ve been a long-time member of KAEOP and have been involved in a few committees and board positions.
I am a native “Bakersfieldian” and a product of Bakersfield City Schools and Kern High School; go Drillers! I’ve been in school business for over 24 years and am a proud mother of two grown children. When I am not in my garden or participating in raffles, I volunteer at the Assistance League Bargain Box Thrift Store and the Guild House Restaurant.
I am also a board member of the California Association of Educational Office Professionals.
It is my honor now to serve as your new KAEOP President.This year, I want KAEOP to continue to offer opportunities to enrich and broaden our daily lives. I also hope to recruit new members and develop programs to increase our presence in the community. Lastly, if the climate allows, I would love to create more fundraisers to escalate our scholarship funds for our youth, the future of tomorrow. Keep your eye out for KAEOP this year! We are here and are as strong as ever. I pray that this finds you and your family safe and healthy. Thank you for your time and commitment to KAEOP.
